On April 26, 2015 the Providence office participated in the 2015 MuckFest MS Boston to raise money and awareness for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and their fight to end MS. MuckFest is a 5K obstacle course consisting of muddy terrain and 18 obstacles.
The battle against MS is a personal cause for several members in our office who have immediate family members afflicted with the disease. Our team, “Bad Assets,” was comprised of 15 members, including 4 office staff, their family members, and close friends. The team collectively raised $1,800 in donations, and the event generated over $600,000 for MS research.
A fun and muddy day was had by all! In fact, many of our team members couldn’t wait for the festivities to get wet and muddy, and had a good old fashioned mud fight among themselves. We all had a great time and cannot wait for next year to participate in another amazing day for MS awareness.
